I have been blessed to be be able shoot at some of the most beautiful Central FL parks, beaches, gardens and nature preserve locations within driving distance. The Vibe is always about You! I’m going to bring the best ME to the session and we are going to rock it out, and have a great time in the process! Prior to your booking, we will meet either in person, Video Conference or phone, to work out the details of your session and discuss how you would like to preserve your Portraits. 


What to Wear

Your Style & Essence combined with what we come up with during pre-consultation is usually our recipe of choice. The key is to have the same intensity of colors that are complementary to each other for the best end result. So if you want a pastel feel in your photos, have the pastels complement each other. Same for bright colors, Black & White etc. 

 

What to Bring

Bring what you would normally bring to a walk in the park. Gentle breezes can be a factor when shooting as can the good ole FL Heat as we approach the summer months. For this, I recommend the following:

  • A Mirror 
  • A comb and/or brush 
  • Makeup (if needed) for touch ups
  • Water to stay hydrated
  • A towel to dab sweat or shine from foreheads, noses, faces.
  • Insect repellent of choice. However, Picaridin is overall the safest, lasts longer and won't require re-application. I caution against Deet as it is known to deteriorate plastics and photography gear.   • Any Personal Props you’d like included
  • Got a Dog? Gemini Springs is Dog Friendly and they are allowed on the trails as long as they are leashed. If you’d like your pet to be included, bring them along for their family session <3 


The Day of Your Session

Please arrive dressed and ready to shoot about 10-15 minutes early for parking and walking to our first shooting location within the park. You are welcome to text me while en route so I can keep a lookout. <3 The pavilions are central to most of the beautiful shooting areas within the 210 Acre park, including playground and restroom facilities.

Upon Arrival, you will turn right to head toward the West Parking Lot. I will be either wrapping up a previous session or waiting for you at the 2nd pavilion on the trail. If there is no parking in the West Parking lot, please park in the East Parking lot and I will meet you at the Red Barn.  Please text me once you have arrived and are safely parked at West or East Parking lots.


Best Practices During the Shoot (Some No-No’s)

No Gum 

No Hair Ties on Wrists

No items in front pockets as they will bulge in the photos

Minimal Highlighter or sparkle on your face if Makeup done. These can cause color shifts and specular artifacts in the photos that will be difficult to edit in post. 

No Cameras in use other than the photographer’s to be in use during the session.
